Today I installed Vista for a friend who was delighted with the way it
looked and was very excited about trying it out. The installation went
smoothly and we had several applications installed successfully too.
Then it came time to setup his speedtouch 330 so he could get on the
internet....... dismal failure after many hours of trying and retrying
to install. He only has one machine and sees no reason to spend good
money on a router when there is otherwise no need for one. Frankly I'm
inclined to agree with him.

I'm sure that over the last week or so I saw several messages about this
particular modem and people having problems getting it to work with
Vista but now I can't seem to find any. I have found quite a few
requests in various places for help with it but I haven't seen any
solutions though some people have said they have it working.

The machine is running the 32 bit version. I've seen a claim that there
is a driver on the speedtouch website for XP64 that apparently works in
the 32 bit Vista but is tricky to install. This doesn't sound logical
but apparently the driver is a bundle.
