Problem

someone got on my laptop and messed with some of the appearance options. i
fixed all except they made my minimize, maximize, and close buttons on
folders and i was wondering how to get them back to their normal size

Hi,
To change the size of these buttons...
Right-click desktop> Personalize> Window color and appearance> Advanced>
Item: Caption buttons.

Hi Nick,

Method Two in this tutorial will show you how to reset the folder view settings.

Windows Explorer Folder View settings


This tutorial will show you how to change them for all the same folder types.

Windows Explorer - Folder Type Templates


This will show you another method to changing the default open window size of a shortcut incase they changed this for you to.
