I have an annoying process running in the background but i just cannot find
out what it is. I can't locate it in task manager, it is not my antivirus I
have just checked my processes and all I have is system idle running 79%
cpu, so what could it be, it is driving me mad.

If system idle process % goes down, another process may rise, that should
tell you the process you're looking for.
