| | computer restarts even after shut down This is about dell inspiron desktop even after clicking on shut down the computer shuts down but within a second the computer restarts need the resolution for this when i turn the computer off using the power button it shuts off and it doesn not turn done pc restore, resinstallation of vista no go |

| Vista Ultimate X64 | Re: computer restarts even after shut down Sanjay, If the Dell PC is under warrenty I would call dell. If the PC is not under warrenty I would update the network card driver. Reason I say this is I have a new Dell server that had the same issue. Called dell and the network card driver was the cause of this. Installed latest driver from Dell.com and fixed it right up.
