Vista - printer is offline

I have a home network (wired ethernet) with this PC and another XP PC and a
printer all connected. Both PCs had been able to use the printer, but all of
a sudden
this PC is unable to print to this printer as it says the printer is
off-line. It didn't change when I tried to resume a print job. The other PC
can print to this printer just fine, as always. What can I try with this
Vista PC to get this printer back online?

Right-click on select "Use the printer online" ?

It is selected as online. However, it says up in the blue bar that it's
off-line.
