desktop icons keep moving

Every time I log on my PC my "Desktop Icons" keep/always move all the over to
the left side of the screen. It is very annoying. "Auto Arrange" is unchecked
- "Align To Grid" is checked - and I have it set to "Medium Icons".Can anyone
help me solve this problem?

Re: desktop icons keep moving

According to the documentation, moving to the left side of the screen
is normal. I have the opposite problem. No matter what I do, (click
-unclick "Align to grid" or click-unclick "Auto arrange"), my icons
spread evenly in four rows across the screen. Since I have many, some
of them are off the screen. How do I get them to stack to the left
side like yours? I have also tried Large, Medium and Classic sizes
and the spacing is the same.

Do we trade laptops??
