Bluetooth, plantronics, broadcom, WIDcom, logitech, HEADACHE

Just purchased an out of the box computer for the first time "ever" not
building one part of it, except changing out the graphics card asap. I love
my new HP Intel Quad core m9040n model and have no real complaints except of
couse all of the bloatware that comes with, but that is another story. I use
the logitech MX 500 keyboard and mouse with a BLUETOOTh dongle which I
replaced the keyboard mouse setup the computer came with. I love my own
bluetooth mouse for I am a gamer, but actually like the "simplicity" of the
keyboard my new computer came with. It also has a dongle but it is not
bluetooh but an infared setup. So when I installed my SETPOINT settings,
drivers etc for my Logitech bluetooth "stuff", and decided to just use the
mouse and not the keyboard all was great. Then I went and tried to sync my
Plantronics 590 e pulsar bluetooth STEREO/Voice headset,...Now all I get is a
reminder each time I boot up my drivers are outdated and never did figure out
why my headset wouldn't work either. Logitech still has yet to enlighten me.
sorry for the length of this question but basically I have done all and then
some and can still not escape the outdated driver mishap aand worry this can
be causing conflicts to where my other devices may not play nice in the
future. whew,

Re: Bluetooth, plantronics, broadcom, WIDcom, logitech, HEADACHE

Hello Thom,

Did you get any answer on this problem?

I have the same problem, I've connected Plantronics and their answer was that the problem is with my Bluetooth driver and that the headset does not require any additional drivers.

Regards,
Milton
