Vista - Games for windows Live & Gears Of Wars

My brother and I both bought Gears Of War for the PC, which we love. So
today we tought "Why not get Gold memberships" so we can invite eachother in
our games, so we did that. At this point in time we both have gold
memberships.



So here is my problem. When we are both online we can see that we are there
if we go to Friends. So let's say that I host a game on either live or
private. I then go to my friends and find my brother. If I click the Game
Invite option it works as it tells me that an invite was sent. But, he's the
problem bit, as soon as my bro clicks Accept it fails!. We have even tried
with him hosting and sending me the invite and it still fails when I click
Accept.

We bot use Vista64 and Windows Firewall is working fine. We both have
routers on our systems. Just to try and fix this issue we both removed the
router completey and we STILL have problems with the invites.

So what are we doing wrong? Can anyone help us please?
