If it's of any interest, I have a very basic HP notebook (nx6110) - with
only 759MB RAM - and self-installed Windows Vista Home Basic. I am not a
game player. I do download family photos, videos, etc. Apart from a slow
booting up and a hesitant shutdown when I first installed Vista, both of
which I put right with CCleaner (as recommended in one of these public
discussion group messages) - I am totally delighted with Vista, and wouldn't
dream of going back to XP.....I am a Golden Oldie and enjoying every moment
of the new computer age - desktop PCs, laptops, mobile phones, PDAs, etc.
