| | Old versions of Photoshop and Dreamweaver in Vista Hello there! I just bought a new computer with Vista Home Premium and I would like to know if I can run Photoshop 7.0 and Dreamweaver MX in it? I don't really feel like paying a lot of money for upgrades... Marie |

| | Re: Old versions of Photoshop and Dreamweaver in Vista Hi, They might, but the problems with programs like those are that they frequently load and use device drivers and service routines. These are generally operating system-specific, so they require that you use a version of the program that is compatible with the OS installed on the computer. Only thing you can do is try it, possibly under compatibility mode, and see. If they don't, well then you are stuck with upgrading to compatible releases. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Marie Swe" <Marie Swe@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:0A52D351-2778-48A2-BD40-EB70806A9CC8@xxxxxx Quote: > Hello there! > > I just bought a new computer with Vista Home Premium and I would like to > know if I can run Photoshop 7.0 and Dreamweaver MX in it? | | Re: Old versions of Photoshop and Dreamweaver in Vista Photoshop 7.0 works on Vista, but the child document windows are not Aero style, including pallettes and the toolbox. Not sure about Dreamweaver though. http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforu...cfm?forumid=12 -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog...3DB!9709.entry "Marie Swe" <Marie Swe@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:0A52D351-2778-48A2-BD40-EB70806A9CC8@xxxxxx Quote: > Hello there! > > I just bought a new computer with Vista Home Premium and I would like to > know if I can run Photoshop 7.0 and Dreamweaver MX in it?
