| | error message using window vista mail I can receive email, but cannot send. It goes directly into my outbox and throws this message An unknown error has occurred. Subject '...', Account: 'SLPA email', Server: 'smtp.charter.net', Protocol: SMTP, Server Response: '421 Service not available', Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 421, Error Number: 0x800CCC67 I have contacted my email provider which is Charter.net and everything is set correctly. I have tried to put in smtp.charter.net and also mail.charter.net, neither of those have worked. I also tried to restart my computer and still no luck. This is effecting all of our log on names not just my email account. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, L. Sweet |

It should be mail.charter.net for both servers. Windows Mail uses the same settings as Outlook Express. See: Charter Communications - You might also see this about antivirus programs to.
