| | File Downloads When I am downloading a file through either IE7 or Firefox, it will download a certain amount (eg. 2.5mb out of 4.5mb) then simply stop. The total amount downloaded, time remaining and download speed all stay on the same amount. Its like it just freezes. I am running a Toshiba A200 Satellite Laptop with Vista Premium. I only purchased it yesterday, so there is no extra third party security programs installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

It can download different parts of the same file at the same time (speeding up download times), and can resume lost or broken downloads. Best all, it's free! http://www.flashget.com/index_en.htm |

| | Re: File Downloads Where are you trying to save this file? You could be saving to a folder without enough space, like the recovery partition... or to one of the junction points, like "My Documents", which, under Vista is not a folder. Are you able to DL smaller files? -- http://get.live.com/wlmail/overview "matt32" <matt32@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:98429ECC-42BC-4670-8089-F35D5DA12E74@xxxxxx Quote: > When I am downloading a file through either IE7 or Firefox, it will > download > a certain amount (eg. 2.5mb out of 4.5mb) then simply stop. > The total amount downloaded, time remaining and download speed all stay on > the same amount.
