Hi Dave,

Can you post a screenshot of this?

Can you click and hold on the taskbar and drag it back?

Re: Task Bar shift

If I knew how to post a screenshot, I would gladly do it, but it's not due
for another 45 minutes anyway.
Actually it's more the buttons that shift than the bar itself, although the
right end does disappear completely.

Dave,

Make sure that when you right click on the Taskbar that "Lock the Taskbar" is checked, and you have "Hide inactive icons" unchecked in Properties. See this tutorial.

Notification Icons - Customize

I never seen the entire right side disappear before on the Taskbar. You can usually post an attachment of a screenshot by clicking on a paperclip icon while editing the post.

RE: Task Bar shift

Hi Dave,

I'm facing the exact same problem, and I know exactly what you're talking
about.

Found a solution ?

RE: Task Bar shift

Hi...

If you have Ares installed, try changing the skin from OSThemes to General.
If that does not help, you may need to uninstall Ares..

RE: Task Bar shift

I too have the same problem with my Dell laptop, and have since the day I
received it. Dell would not help me with it because they said it was a
software issue, and not covered on the warranty.

Has anyone found a solution for this problem?
