| | Sound but no picture? Ive just brought a laptop with Vista on. When i brought it, it already had Windows Media Center and CyberLink PowerDVD installed on it, and both were working fine. Over the past couple of days ive installed Quicktime 7 and i also installed a codec pack because i was having trouble playing videos that i had put onto my laptop from my phone. I now cant watch a DVD in either program, im getting the sound but the screen is blank ( black). Ive tried uninstalling Quicktime and ive also done a system restore but nothing has worked. Has anyone got any ideas why this is happening or what ive done? |

The only codec pack that I've found that works properly in Windows Vista is the Vista Codec Pack, found here: Vista Codec Package Homepage |
