user login failure

I get the message "user profile service failed the login" for two of the
three users on my laptop. No passwords are being used. The second login
failed about a week after the first failure. How do I fix it without
deleteing the profiles? Thanks.

Re: user login failure

This is not helpful if there is only one user account on the system and its
profile is messed up. Any other ideas?
