Doc Yes, it is safe to delete them. Vista will rebuild them automatically when you restart the computer to their default settings. They should be rebuilt as needed, but you could certainly export the registry keys first - or rename them instead of deleting them - in order to be able to restore the old versions if you deem it necessary. -- Speaking for myself only.
