Restore Factory Gadgets

Hi,
I actually liked the factory gadgets and wanted to restore them. I have
gone and tried to but, the button is not highlighted so I am not able to get
click on it. Can anyone help me to restore the factory gadgets.
Thanks for any help.
Happy Holidays!

Re: Restore Factory Gadgets

Well, you have not explained in detail what you did, so I will assume you
did not Right click on the Sidebar, select properties and click restore
windows default gadgets.

Re: Restore Factory Gadgets

Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories and right-click
on the Command Prompt and choose "Run as administrator".
Type in: SFC /SCANNOW and press your Enter key.

If that does not work, try repairing your system. Boot from your Windows
Vista DVD, select the System Repair Option > on the setup screen, select
'Repair Computer > Select your installation of Windows > select Startup
Repair option and follow instructions.
