| | Re: Resize partition (Win vista) Hi, Run diskmgmt.msc from the start/search line. Examine the drive, you will need free space to exist immediately after the volume that you want to expand. If there is, then simply right click the volume and expand will be one of the options. This is a non-destructive routine, but it doesn't excuse not backing up your data in case of problems. If there is no free space adjacent to the volume, you will likely need to use a third party product like BootIT NG to do this work, as you will not only have to shrink and adjacent volume (something you can do with disk manager), but also need to slide them to arrange the free space accordingly. This is not something you can do with disk manager. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Minh Quân" <Minh Quân@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:1825CD78-04A2-4A29-8D54-E549D78334EB@xxxxxx Quote: > Hi all, > My vista's partition size is 40Gb, I need to enlarge it.
