TIA Richard I have personally not seen much difference on my computer, but you can read through the top of this to provide you with more information on the SP1 RC1 to see if you want to install it. Some of that must be used to access video RAM, BIOS, etc, so you cannot actually use a full 4GB of RAM. The 64-bit versions of Vista let you use more RAM.
