| | UPDATE: Corrupt system files found...now what? Out of habit: Start->cmd (run as Administrator) sfc /scannow Here is the output: =============== Beginning system scan. This process will take some time. Beginning verification phase of system scan. Verification 99% complete.Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log. For example ================ I looked at the log hoping to find the name(s) of the corrupt files, and instead found a log file that was completely unreadable except by an android with a positron neural transmission system. Now what do I do? Use of System Restore gives me feelings of nausea. The many times I tried it, it shrugs its shoulders. |
