| XP | Bluetooth Stack (Toshiba) incompatible with Vista Toshiba Bluetooth Stack for windows is apparently incompatible with Vista. I have XP right now but was considering upgrading to Vista. I downloaded Microsoft's Vista Upgrade Advisor and it identified software that was either entirely incompatible or perhaps incompatible with Vista. I was advised to de-install Toshiba's Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba before installing Vista and not to even attempt to reinstall it. No recommendations were made for substitutes. What does one do in this situation? Advice needed please regarding compatible bluetooth software. Many thanks in advance. |

| | Re: Bluetooth Stack (Toshiba) incompatible with Vista The Upgrade Advisor will only tell you what is present but incompatible with Vista, or is known to cause problems if left in place during an upgrade. It does not tell you what to replace incompatible items with: you have to find compatible alternatives yourself. Vista includes a Bluetooth stack with limited ability. See http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/?page=download for Vista Toshiba drivers. There are several other Vista compatible Bluetooth stacks. You just have to search for them.
