| | Vista wont install after new build Im trying to install Vista Home Prem. OEM on my system that i just built. Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Gigabyte p35cds3r, 4gb ram, Diamond HD3850 PCI Express. Western Digital 120 GB Sata, Samsung SATA DVD/CDRW. I have tried numerous times just to get Vista to boot to the install screen but have had no luck. At First i kept getting the BOOTMGR is missing error, and was able to get bootmgr on to the disk. Now the HDD is saying that windows is corrupt and needs to be repaired, press any key. NOTHING HAPPENS, will not boot to CD either my SATA or IDE CD-r. Replaced the mobo, same results. Please help |

Computer vendor OEMs are tied to the vendor's motherboard and will not install with another motherboard. Have a nice day. C.B. |
