You would go to 'tools' 'accounts' and add blueyonder.

The Microsoft Communities news server only offers Microsoft newsgroups. You
need to get the name of your ISP's news server (NNTP), and set up a separate
account for it in your email client.

You have add the server account first.

Tools, Accounts, Add, Newsgroup Accounts...

You get the news server name and login info from your ISP.

Did you set up a news account for Blueyonder?

The following site shows the Blueyonder
news server is : news.blueyonder.co.uk

Head on over to the following page at Microsoft's website on how to
configure your newsreader to read Microsoft's Public Newsgroups:

IMO you should use Microsoft Communities {msnews.microsoft.com} for
Microsoft newsgroups and your ISP for others. Your ISP copies the newsgroups
from msnews.microsoft.com and may not be current.

To use msnews.microsoft.com you need to provide a user name and email
address. However, both can be any user name and email address you choose.
The email address need not be an actual email address and should not be your
real email address.

Wrong. And it may be censored as well. The only way to see where your ISP
gets Usenet from is to look at the Path: header. The first entry on the
line is the LAST server the post went thru. The ISP server will have
push/pull peers with which it sends and receives posts from.

To use any news _client_ you usually have to fill in this info. No
different for MSNEWS. It sounds as if you are saynig it needs a
username/password.
