| | Re: Taskbar Disappears Sounds like your Taskbar is set to auto-hide. Hit Start on your keyboard, type Taskbar and Start menu > select 'Taskbar' (tab) > under Taskbar appearance uncheck 'Auto-hide the taskbar'. -- Andre Blog: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com My Vista Quickstart Guide: http://adacosta.spaces.live.com/blog...3DB!9709.entry "John" <me@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:%23nLLD6KUIHA.4752@xxxxxx Quote: > Vista Busness. | | RE: Taskbar Disappears Hi John, You have got the taskbar set to auto-hide. To revert back to normal behaviour, move the mouse cursor so that the taskbar comes back into view. Right-click on a blank spot on the taskbar and select 'Properties' from the menu that pops up. On the 'Taskbar' tab under 'Taskbar appearance', make sure that the checkbox next to 'Auto-hide the taskbar' is cleared (not selected). By default, all other options should be selected except for this one. Click 'OK' and your taskbar should remain in view. Dwarf "John" wrote: Quote: > Vista Busness. | | Re: Taskbar Disappears Thank you both for your reply. Sadly the Auto-Hide is not checked, at least via the Properties etc. Where in the registry might this setting be found so I can check there.
