| | icon problems I keep changing my desktop icons using the property tab and when I go to the place I click on and return to the desktop, the icon I chose has been replaced by another icon. This is happening to several icons I have tried to permanently change. This is a new problem I am having. It is driving me crazy! Does anyone have a quick fix for me? I am needing something simple to try please!! |

I am needing something simple to try please!! If you do not need to makes changes to the file often, you can set the file as read-only after you changed the icon. Just unset red-only when you need to make a change to it. This may lock in the icon for you. Read-only File and Folder Attribute Shawn |
