Do either of you have or had a TV tuner card in your system?

Re: media centre

Any chance that this is a Dell with the ATI TV Tuner Card?

A couple months back I had the same problem. It was caused by Dell's
Support something-or-the-other "optimizing" my system. A system restore
fixed it and the Dell support something-or-the-other has been banished from
my system.

RE: media centre

I also have the same problems. They were caused by trying to install the
Netflix instant movie viewer. System restore didn't work & now my Windows/DRM
folder is empty.

Re: media centre

I got the same error after installing a new processor. After trying everything I could find on google this finally fixed it... Error message when you try to sign in to the Zune Marketplace or when you try to play content from the Zune Marketplace

RE: media centre

Similar problem for me. After unsuccessful install of Netflix instant viewer
Media Center would no longer work with my TV tuner card. Anytime I restart
windows I get the same errors. TV tuner works okay with other viewers. Best
fix I could find so far is to turn off the Media Center option and not use it?

Re: media centre

Go to your OEM's or video card manufacturer's website and get the latest
driver.

I was getting the same error after replacing my CPU. It ended up being an issue with the Digital Rights Management. After spending a lot time on Google here is the fix that worked for me....

Open Windows Explorer and select Organize -->Folder Options.
Then View and deselect "Hide protected operating system files"
Then go to ProgramData/Microsoft/Windows/DRM
Blow everything away that is in the folder.

I hope this helps.
