WordPerfect install

Can anyone tell me how to install Wp 12 on Vista?

I can't install 13 until I install 12.

WP 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 all run under Vista.

thanks

Don't know about WordPerfect 13, but do you mean WordPerfect X3?

Applied but still waiting to be accepted for the Vista Beta Testing group.
Can't wait to be able to play and help make it even better.

Re: WordPerfect install

Have you tried running the install under Win2k compatibility? You can't
*use* any release below 11 under XP, let alone Vista, unless your login is
an administrator, because the templates, quickwords, etc..., are stored
under the "Program Files" tree. Vista will virtualize these files, but the
response time suffers.

Re: WordPerfect install

My friend is a big fan of WordPerfect. He has installed it on the latest
build 4365 with no error messages. Is your version an upgrade or full
version? What is your version # of vista?

Re: WordPerfect install

Why do you need to install 12 in order to install X3? In my experience (I'm
a long-time WP user - since v3.1), you can install X3 over 11 without
trouble. You can even install it without a prior version being present.
