Host Process For Windows Services Stopped

I keep receiving this Error:
“Host Process for Windows Services stopped working and was closed
A problem caused the application to stop working correctly. Windows will
notify you if a solution is available.”
What does it mean and how do I fix it?? I dont have to be working in a
particular program for it to show up. It appears all different times. Even
when I first open the computer in the morning.

RE: Host Process For Windows Services Stopped

I keep getting the same the message, mainly after the computer wakes up from
sleep or hibernate mode. HP provided this fix, but it is only
temporary....it keeps coming back. I post it below, try but it is not a
permanet fix.

Reinstall Power Management Vista:

1. Open Device manager (Click Pearl or Start button, Select Run, type
DEVMGMT.MSC and press enter).
2. Click Continue.
3. Click + sign next to System Devices.
4. Right click on ACPI fixed features.
5. Select Uninstall.
6. Similarly Uninstall the entries listed under Batteries in device manager.

Good luck.....let me know if run in to any other solutions.
