Customize the Vista File Manager Toolbar?

Is it possible to cusomize the Vista file explorer toolbar like you can with
XP's file explorer? I'd like to have the cut/copy/paste toolbar icons in my
Vista file manager just like XP has.

Anyone have a solution?

Re: Customize the Vista File Manager Toolbar?

Hi,

No can do, for some odd reason that menu bar was removed in favor of the
current, non-customizable one.

Re: Customize the Vista File Manager Toolbar?

Thats just the default behaviour unfortunately, it cannot be edited.

If you would like to create your own, you might want to take a look at the

Re: Customize the Vista File Manager Toolbar?

No, but you can right click to cut/copy/paste.

Re: Customize the Vista File Manager Toolbar?

one way to get these buttons is to use an application called QTTabBar
from

Code:
--------------------
http://qttabbar.wikidot.com/
--------------------

i think you will also need the file tool plugin pack from the same
site
an alternative is to use
control c = copy
control v = paste
control x = cut

You might find this useful as well for this. It will show you how to add "Copy to Folder" and "Move to Folder" to the Context (right click) menu.

Context Menu - Add COPY TO FOLDER and MOVE TO FOLDER

Re: Customize the Vista File Manager Toolbar?

OR, you should get familiar with the keyboard shortcuts for Cut/Copy/Paste:

Ctrl+X---------Cut
Ctrl+C---------Copy
Ctrl+V---------Paste
