itunes accessing online

    itunes accessing online

    I have the latest version of itunes loaded on Vista 32 home premium and it
    was working fine until a few days ago. Now it will not let me access istore,
    the music database or check for updates. I contacted Apple but they were
    extremely unhelpful.

    Does anyone have any suggestions for a cure?

    Do you purchase media via iTunes? If so call their tech support back and
    insist on assistance, reminding them that if you can't access their store
    you can't purchase media, ask to be escalated if the first drone can't help
    you, I'm sure once you mention their lost revenue due to your problem
    they'll be more helpful. Also try posting in Apples online forum.

    Believe you me I've spent a cosiderable amount of time of the phone to Apple.
    However upon further investigation it appears the problem may lie with my
    ISP: Tiscali. Apparently this is a recurrence of a problem they had last
    year. I have now contacted them and await their reply.
