| | search bad using Search with system defaults, it can't find files I know are there. unlike all previous Windows, Vista looks only for files BEGINNING with the characters you enter. like: all your camera images HPIM9999.jpg, type in IM and you get no hits. the 'index' business was maybe a good idea to limit search hits, but they went way overboard by eliminating the implied * wild card character. is there a fix on the way? thanx |
