| Guest | WORD 2007 Hi, When I edit my previously saved documents in WORD and then click the X, many times the programme will not close and this message comes up. 'Microsoft Office Word' 'Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error.' The only way I can close the document is to switch the computer off and back on again. Unfortunately all the work that I had done prior to closing the file is not saved. Does anyone have a solution to this please? Thanks - Susan |

| Guest | Re: WORD 2007 Well, alright. Type, "winword" into the Start Menu's search bar. Right-click the result at the top, click "Properties". Now, go to the "Compatibility" tab. "Privilege Level" Check, "Run this program as an administrator" -Michael "Susan" <Susan@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:4EEEAE68-C6CA-4790-9EAF-A748928C00B7@xxxxxx Quote: > O.K.
