AVG Free AntiVirus

I have been using AVG Free AntiVirus under XP without any problem. I
upgraded it to Windows Vista Home Premium last week with the same hardware.
Now AVG cannot load its resident shield. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Re: AVG Free AntiVirus

uninstall
download the installer file
select save not run, after download is complete,
right click and select 'run as administrator'

I've been using AVG Free with Vista for over 6 months OK. I agree
with the uninstall/reinstall. Make sure you have the latest version
and you install as Administrator.

Re: AVG Free AntiVirus

I did a clean install of Vista Premium, installed AVG and it has worked
perfect. Been 10 months or so.

Uninstall then re-install. I suggest doing this while disconnected
from the Internet.
