| Guest | Can't activate after hardware upgrade- No tech support I'm not sure this is the right place to ask this question but I don't know where else to go. I recently installed a new hard drive (WD Raptor X 150gb 10k rpm). After I did this I formatted my old hard drive and installed Windows Vista onto the new one. Now Vista won't activate because it says my key is already in use and the key won't work to get me free tech support. There has to be some way to remedy this without paying for $60 of tech support or buying a new key. Any ideas? |
