Vista Get's Lost!!!

I'm finding that regardless of application, Vista will get lost while typing
any input. The cursor will bounce to another area on screen or disappear
entirely. It seems Vista maintains a multitude of backdround processes that
it loses currency with a given process due to conflict. Simply an observation
by the random nature of cursor displacement.

Re: Vista Get's Lost!!!

Losing your cursor cannot be fault of the operating system, its either a
problem with the pointing device or some application you have installed
recently. Click Start > All Programs > Maintenance > Problem Reports and
Solutions to see if there are any logged reports that might give a hint at
whats causing the problem.

  1. Open Control Panel
  2. Under "Hardware and Sound", click "Mouse" (or Double-click "Mouse" if you are using the Classic View)
  3. Click the "Pointer Options" tab
  4. Remove the check from the "Hide pointer while typing" box
  5. Click Apply
  6. Click OK
The cursor should now remain visible when typing.

The above makes the assumption that when you mention "Cursor", you mean the Mouse Pointer.

"Cursor" means the blinking line where text get inserted when you type, while "Mouse Pointer" is the arrow that tracks mouse movement and determines where clicks are registered.

Re: Vista Get's Lost!!!

I can see it: 158 is how your "brains" are advanced. Must be an IQ level!

For your 158 IQ information what the OP described quite closely matches
symptoms of low batter power in a wireless mouse of any manufacturer.

Don't try to mislead people you, scoundrel. Keep your subterranean 1/158
fraction of IQ to yourselves.
