Windows Update Failures

Windows Update utility has worked OK until recently. Whilst I installed
patches using it in December, now it continuously fails.

I've tried the following:
1) Deleted /windows/softwareDistribution directory
2) Temporarily killed AV protection
3) ran "fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\" and rebooted machine to
clear file system transaction log.

....all to no avail. Updates still fail.

Anyone have a clue of this??

RE: Windows Update Failures

I would strongly recommend that you do not install these updates.
I tried to install these updates and they completely trashed my machine.
I have spent just over a week trying to get my PC back to normal
Wait until SP1 is released
