blue screen and general crashing. please help

hello
ive just changed from XP to Vista, and have got a few problems. im with
tesco BB, and have installed the new modem thingy to update it to vista. that
seems to be working ok...but
1, i keep getting a blue screen error:
Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.2
Locale ID: 2057

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: ce
BCP1: 86AB4726
BCP2: 00000008
BCP3: 86AB4726
BCP4: 00000000
OS Version: 6_0_6000
Service Pack: 0_0
Product: 768_1

Files that help describe the problem:
C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini012108-03.dmp
C:\Users\owner\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-164830-0.sysdata.xml
C:\Users\owner\AppData\Local\Temp\WEREDF6.tmp.vers ion.txt

Read our privacy statement:

i first got this installing the windows updates, then it happens just when
im browsing the internet.

ive uninstalled my printer etc. all i have that i've installed now. is AVG
and MSN.

also. if i leave the pc unattended, but turned on. after a while it turns
itself off. it will eithr turn itself back on and start up with the black
screen and white writing safe mode/start normally. or it will turn itself off
and the screen will stay black but the tower is still humming away

a friend of mine says it could be the drivers? i do a have a file from the
mini dump .would it help if i posted this as we cannot read it?

many thanks. if you can offer any help it would really be appreaciated

Re: blue screen and general crashing. please help

go back to XP...

you will only run into more and more and more problems with vista in a never
ending battle just to do things that with XP were almost automatic

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Re: blue screen and general crashing. please help

Make sure you understand it is malicious troll who has no busyness to be
here except scaring people from Vista because he runs a criminal virus and
spyware business, poaching people's computers.

Vista is a death knell for him and he knows that. Vista is a very secure
system although more difficult to manage.
