Can I run another NG reader in Windows Mail?

There are some other NG's that I love to see but they are not via MS, like a
metalwork NG, how can I do that. I would be extremely happy to figure out
how to do it.....Grandpa Peter

Add the Comcast newsserver (seeing as you seem to be using them) to WM. Use
the instructions for Outlook Express.

If you wanna just reach other newsgroups, you can just add another NG server
to WinMail.

You would go to Tools_Accounts_Add...button_Newsgroup Account -next
button, enter name, next, email address,News Server (an ex. would be
nntp.aioe.org) ...then you would download a list of groups.

The NG will be in the left pane...if you right click it_Properties, edit the
email address that you want to appear in here(most people fudge the real one
to prevent spam)

You can add as many news servers as you like in Windows Mail. Since
your E-mail address says you are a Comcast customer, just add the
server newsgroups.comcast.net, and you find many tens of thousands of
non-Microsoft newsgroups there.
