Would like to ask a question about problems and solutions on Vista

HI everyone I have a question to ask. I was wondering if someone could tell
me when you use problems and solutions applications on windows Vista Basic.
When I click on scan for solutions after it has done this a message comes up
saying that their are no soutions found and to scan for solutions again
later? What I would like to now that sometimes their will be error messages
and then right next to it it will say solution available how can I get these
solutions that Solutions and problems application says it has.
I was also wondering do you have to register to activiate the problems and
solutions application on windows Vista Basic
thanks
Howard

If a solution is available it is usually displayed as a link; clicking the
link will get you to the webpage. In most cases this is simply the
manufacturer's webpage were you might find details of an updated driver.
Anything to with Microsoft Vista will, inevitably, be made available as an
update.

You certainly don't have to 'register' just by sending the problem reports
you are helping Microsoft. The more people with the same problem the faster
a solution will be found, so keep sending those problems.

Well, no.

If it says ther is a solution available, then it should give the details of said solution, which is often a link to the software manufacturers website. Sorry that I cannot be more specific, as I haven't needed to use that tool for some time (my system is that stable), but you should read what it says, and you should be fine.
