| | turn off "auto-save" in windows photo gallery???? Windows Photo Gallery seems to "auto-save" changes to photos. It does so without prompting. This is a problem for me as it saves changes to my pictures--even if I just rotate them. I am then unable to view pictures on my camera. Does anyone know how to find preferences and turn this feature off? |

| | Re: turn off "auto-save" in windows photo gallery???? Hi Kimberly, There is no means of disabling that behavior, and I don't disagree that it's annoying. You would need to use a different program to manipulate the photos, or move them off the camera media first. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Windows help - www.rickrogers.org My thoughts http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com "Kimberly, Portland OR" <Kimberly, Portland OR@xxxxxx> wrote in message news C2C6E36-F5AE-4C6B-A249-1B9CE33450A1@xxxxxxQuote: > Windows Photo Gallery seems to "auto-save" changes to photos. | | Re: turn off "auto-save" in windows photo gallery???? That option is not available in WPG. You can do that and A LOT more with the free Paint.NET image and photo editing software. http://www.download.com/Paint-NET/30...-10338146.html "Kimberly, Portland OR" <Kimberly, Portland OR@xxxxxx> wrote in message news C2C6E36-F5AE-4C6B-A249-1B9CE33450A1@xxxxxxQuote: > Windows Photo Gallery seems to "auto-save" changes to photos.
