CPU Usage

I go into Task Manager and my CPU is sitting at 90% and there is nothing
running. I have a AMD 3000 with 1500 RAM so that seems to be high to me
because all I'm doing is typing out this post and looking at my Task Manager
and my CPU Usage is sitting at 90%, what could be wrong?

Press CTRL-SHIFT-ESC, and then click on the Processes tab.

Now click on the heading CPU such that the processes using up cycles are
grouped together. Look at what processes are taking up the most cycles..

Hi Richard,

In addition to Mike Hall's post, you can also use the Resource Monitor for more details on what is using up the CPU on your computer. This tutorial will show you how.
