| Guest | Audio Recording Vista Ultimate Playing FLV with FLV player and I want to record the music being played to a ..wma file. Tried Windows Audio Recorder but that does not seem to have a way to record what Vista is playing. How do I do that? I do not want to use external patch cords. Is there a way to set this up? |

| Guest | Re: Audio Recording I've been trying for weeks to get Vista to record line-in on my Dell Dimension 9200. It seems that line-in recording has been disabled on Vista - leastwise I can't get it to work. This really is the final straw with Vista - I'm going back to XP. |

| Guest | Re: Audio Recording Perhaps you could try what I do. I have a SoundBlaster Audigy. I installed Audacity (free Recording program) In options for input choice I select What-You-Hear This may not work with your sound card but it works for me. | Guest | Re: Audio Recording I just recorded from line-in. Took about 30 seconds with Vista, so it is not disabled. I can also record stereo mix (what you hear), even using windows recorder, though I prefer a 3rd party recorder. Enjoy going back to XP.
