Disappearing Printers Folder

I have a couple Vista Business computers (new Dell OptiPlex 755)
here that lose the Printers folders. After anywhere from two to ten (!)
reboots, the folder will reappear as if nothing was wrong.

I looked on Google and found many cases where the printers would disappear
from the Printers folder but none where the whole folder would be gone.

I tried Repair installs but no change.

Any ideas?
