Checked Build

I see that Technet Plus subscribers will get 5308 Checked build. What is the
difference between that and CTP?

Also, are we to upgrade IE 7 Beta 2 to the latest build or leave it the way
it is? I don't see that the new beta supports Vista.

Re: Checked Build

The regular build is for those on XANAX. The checked build is for those on
PROSAC.

The checked build contains more error traps that allow bugs to be found more
easily. Its consequently much slower than the regular build.

Re: Checked Build

IE7 beta 2 is for XP or windows 2003. Vista comes with IE7 already.

Re: Checked Build

Checked builds contains debugging symbols used by developers to get detailed
information on error messages they want when debugging their software on
Vista. Its slower too.
