| | Vista - error message: "Consent UI for administrative ..." Vista - error message: "Consent UI for administrative..." Does anybody know how to fix the error message "Consent UI for administrative applications stopped working....". I installed Vista and ran all updates, NAV security and Setup Windows Mail. I can't run any apps, commands and can't even disable UAC. My logon is admin equivalent. I am new at Vista but knowledgeable with XP. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please respond if you can. |

Norton/Symantec is junk and creates more problems that it solves. Have a nice day. C.B. |

| | RE: Vista - error message: "Consent UI for administrative ..." C.E, Thanks for your response. the problem is that I couldn't install/uninstall any apps. In the past few days I couldn't find any refrences to the solution. Unless I find the answer to this mystery, Vista is not welcome on my computers. I went ahead and formated the drive and installed XP instead. Security is good but I want to be the one in control of that. Thanks, "CB" wrote: Quote: > > > "Atlantan" wrote: > Quote: > > Vista - error message: "Consent UI for administrative..." > > Does anybody know how to fix the error message "Consent UI for administrative > > applications stopped working....".
