Re: INFOWORLD: SAVE XP PETITION

Seems you just upgraded since the old one is sitting on the floor still. So
get off your rant and if you don't care for vista, get out of this forum, and
use the xp newsgroups or what ever. Tired of trolls going on about this
stuff. If you have problems then this group is here to serve people who have
interest in vista, not anything else. Sure, there may be some problems for
some, but if people can't find it in search on how to fix it, then come here
and post to see if anyone can help.

So I hope you heed this advice all you trolls vista haters, please quit
trying to provoke us who like vista!

Tired of trolls or tired of hearing the truth? Tired of hearing of all
the issues with Vista, of all the reasons not to use it?

The truth is far more than a pretty polished looking GUI. Under the hood
it represents putting many restrictions on a platform (the PC, or
computers in general) that was never meant to have much restrictions.
It's not difficult to understand if you actually do your home work.

Re: INFOWORLD: SAVE XP PETITION

You don't know the truth, because you don't have Vista! You use free O/S
that are not worth it. They have a lot more problems than vista has! Your
just afraid to admit the truth. I have done my homework as I have Vista!! I
love it!!

Yes I do.

1) I have several VM images for my own testing

2) as a company we regularly work with Vista machines, both for
technical problems and setting up and mainting them - what ever is in
the contract.

We do pletny of Vista work, but it is still in the miniority compared to
XP/2000/2003 and Linux. From what we can see, in the corporate scene,
Vista just has been faring worse then in the geenral consumer market.
