Copy Paste WinMail

Apparently you can not "paste" into Windows Email - screen shots or pictures
from you clipboard?

If anyone knows how let me know or if there is a fix for it?

The Windows Live Mail apparently "fixes" that problem, but it is entirely
"web" based and not "client" based? So can not use that.

Yes you can. The Windows Live Mail client can be downloaded from:

Re: Copy Paste WinMail

You can "insert" a saved screen shot or picture.

Re: Copy Paste WinMail

Thanks Bob.

Ok, I saved a screen shot in paint..........as a *.jpeg

And then inserted it - into an "email".

It works (and makes me work).

Shame on Microsoft for being so cheap.

The OLD "cut, copy, and paste" was so nice. I miss it!

Re: Copy Paste WinMail

With WinMail, as of Jan 2009: yes, the image pastes correctly IF you paste it from context menu option -- that is if you right-click into the body of your email and select paste.

but it won't work if you CTRL+C and CTRL+V
