Is there anyway to completely remove and reinstall windows vista? Or if I buy the upgraded version will it use any of the exsiting features from the home basic version? | Member | Re: Notification area/ How to get rid of Caps Lock, Scroll Lock Just fixed this on a customer's machine. It is a program that is installed by default in the initial factory setup from HP. Go to Control Panel, then Programs and Features. It will be listed as a program that can be uninstalled. It is not possible to right click and delete the icon as previous posts suggest. |

Start (bottom left corner) --> Control Panel --> Programs --> Programs and Features --> Scroll down till you see a file with this title.... HP On-Screen Cap/ Num/ Scroll Lock Indicator Right click that little sucker and delete it! Congo Rats! |
