Changing the background from bright white to ?

Hi,

Anyone know how to change the white background to a different colour ?

I can't stand the bright white background when I open Word or Excel or my
email, it's giving me a headache.

Please help

Thanks,
michael

Re: Changing the background from bright white to ?

In OpenOffice the background color can be changed to your liking. I imagine
you can do the same in MS Office. You can save the doc or spreadsheet in a
convenient place and launch it to open the program.

In Windows Mail you can choose a stationary and set it as your default.

On your desktop, right click and select Personalize. Select Window Color and
Appearance. Select Advanced. In the Item list, arrow down to Window. Change
your color at the Color 1 list.

Re: Changing the background from bright white to ?

If it's really as bothersome as you say you'll do it with each program
individually.

That won't change the background color of the programs.
