| | Win32 help After scanning with windows defender it says i have a settings modifier in windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts. It says it is Win32/PossibleHostsFileHijack. I quarantine the item but it comes back at next reboot.When I clean item it fails as it says it might be aread only. How do i remove this from pc as when I search for it i cant find it I am running windows vista |

| | RE: Win32 help http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html The above is a very good free anti-virus. http://www.spybot.info/en/index.html With Spybot Search & destroy(the above link); download it, install it, update it ,immunize your system, and THEN scan your computer with it. If it does not remove it 1st time, reboot, hit F8, go into Safe Mode, and scan your system again.
